About IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a key component of educational institutions, responsible for ensuring continuous improvement in both academic and administrative performance. Established according to the guidelines by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), IQAC fosters a culture of quality, innovation, and excellence in teaching, learning, and governance. It plays a vital role in developing strategies for institutional growth, stakeholder engagement, and quality enhancement.
Functions of IQAC
- Developing Quality Benchmarks – Establishing standards for academic and administrative activities.
- Facilitating Best Practices – Encouraging innovative teaching and learning methods.
- Conducting Internal Audits – Regularly assessing institutional performance.
- Organizing Workshops & Seminars – Promoting faculty and student development programs.
- Feedback Mechanism – Collecting and analysing feedback from students, staff, and stakeholders.
- Preparing AQARs – Compiling the Annual Quality Assurance Report for NAAC accreditation.
Objectives of IQAC
The primary objective of IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the academic and administrative performance of institutions. It aims to:
- Ensure efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative, and financial tasks.
- Promote the adoption of modern teaching-learning methods and technologies.
- Develop mechanisms for quality enhancement through internal and external audits.
- Encourage faculty development and student-centric activities.
- Foster a research-oriented and innovative mindset within the institution.
